Disney Latin America’s annual deal with Audio Network will provide their in-house marketing and promo team, along with their third-party producers, access to the library for all productions across the year. Due to their content having wide geographical distribution (both the footprint of their channel and the international sales/distribution of their programmes), it was important for Disney Latin America and Audio Network’s existing Latin partners to work with a library that provided the studio with music that was pre-cleared for distribution across all platforms, territories and in perpetuity, along with the opportunity to synch in multiple regions.
Rose Adkins, Vice President of Business Development at Audio Network said, “Audio Network has seen rapid growth in the Latin sector over the last six months as the demand for content in this area continues to grow. We look forward to a great partnership with Disney Latin America and our existing Latin American clients.” Adkins continues, “Latin American producers and broadcasters are the fastest area of growth for Audio Network’s business, which is up from 2% to 20% over the past year. “
Commenting on renewing with Audio Network, Telemundo’s Manager of Music Affairs, Jaika Lara said, "We struggled to find that ‘true’ Latin sound in production libraries. We are thrilled to have access to Audio Network’s library, as we now have sharp sounding tracks that are ready for TV and radio."
In response to this growing and underserved market, Audio Network decided to add to their current 40,000 tracks an extended Latin library providing authentic and regional music to include styles from Argentina, Cuba, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Columbia, Puerto Rico, Chile and Spain. Audio Network has spent the last year building a Latin team of composers to create a strong and relevant library. Leading this is Grammy-Award nominated composer Tim Devine and an impressive stable of co-writers to include Luiz Marquez, Jorge Luis Sosa, Leonardo Ceballos Infante and Juan Cheito Quinones.
This extraordinary group of composers have worked with Latin artists to include Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz and Enrique Iglesias. The library provides an international mix of high quality original cues that are set at affordable, fixed and competitive prices for the region.
